Vienas iš jų yra sėdėjimas socialiniuose tinkluose valandą laiko. Manau nesudaro sunkumų tiek laiko būti įbedus akis į telefoną ar kompiuterį. Antras veiksmas yra knyga arba koks nors kitas būdas kai mes sutelkiame dėmesį į mokymąsi. Kuris iš šių veiksmų jums yra naudingiausias? Atsakymą žinome visi ar ne?
Tuomet, kodėl žmogus renkasi praleisti valandą laiko socialiniuose tinkluose negaudamas jokios realios naudos? Kiekvienas logiškai mąstantis žmogus supranta, kad skyrus valandą ar dvi veiklai kurioje jis galėtų išmokti naujų dalykų, galėtų pagerinti savo finansinę situaciją arba pagerinti savo sveikatą, o galbūt asmeninius santykius. Mes visi žinome, kad mokytis ir tam tikras žinias pritaikyti praktiškai yra naudinga, nenenorint pasiekti tam tikrų rezultatų.
Vieniems labai sunku pasimokyti vieną valandą per dieną o kitiems ne. Vieni su mielu noru pasirenka valandą laiko sėdeti socialiniuose tinkluose, o kiti su mielu noru mokosi.
Vieni žmonės labiau motyvuoti, kiti mažiau. Kodėl taip yra?
Pakalbėkime apie Dopaminą, juk tai vienas iš neurotransmitorių, kurie įtakoja mūsų būseną. Dopaminas yra tas, kuris nulemia mūsų motyvaciją daryti vienus ar kitus dalykus. Nors ši medžiaga dažniau vadinama kaip laimės hormonu.
Prieš keletą dešimčių metų mokslininkai atliko tyrimą, kuriame eksperimentavo su žiurkėmis. Elektrodus prijungė prie jų smegenų ir narvelyje įtaisė svirtelę, kurią palietus elektrodai stimuliuodavo tą dali smegenų, kuri pagamindavo didelį kiekį dopamino. Žiurkės taip įprato prie šio malonumo, kad svirtelę liesdavo vis dažniau ir dažniau. Vieną dieną jos save taip išsekino, kad nebegalėjo net pajudėti.
Tuomet mokslininkai nusprendė padaryti atvirkščiai, kitai grupei žiurkių užblokavo tam tikrą smegenų dalį, kurioje gaminasi dopaminas. Prieš darant kokį nors veiksmą, žmogaus smegenys paskaičiuoja kiek tas veiksmas suteiks malonumo ir kiek pasigamins dopamino. Jei atitinkamas veiksmas nesuteiks daug malonumo, pavyzdžiui, mokintis apie sveiką mitybą, tam veiksmui noro atlikti nebus daug. Jei tam tikras veiksmas suteiks daug malonumo, jūs būsite motyvuoti tai padaryti ir greičiausiai net ne vieną kartą.
Pavyzdžiui, jei jūs nusprendėte sumaisto pyragaitį, jūsų smegenys žino, kad pasigamins daug dopamino. Tokiu atveju jūs esate motyvuoti apsirengti, susiruošti ir nueiti į parduotuvę tą pyragaitį įsigyti. Net jei mes suprantame, kad tam tikras produktas yra mums žalingas, smegenims vienodai rodo, smegenys nenenori dopamino, net jei jo dideli kiekiai yra mums žalingi. Žmogus neturintis priklausomybę narkotikams suvokia, kad narkotikai yra žalingi, bet jis juos vartoja, kad gautų tą pliupsnį dopamino. Daug žmonių net nesusimąsto, kad stipri dopamino gamyba vyksta kai žmogus žaidžia azartinius žaidimus, „scrolinant“ socialiniuose tinkluose, žiurint maistografinius filmus, žaidžiant kompiuterinius žaidimus ir t.t.

Tarkim, jei lauke šalta, kūno temperatūra nukrenta ir mes drebame iš šalčio. Jei lauke karšta, mes prakaituojame tam, kad išlaikyti organizmo temperatūros balansą. Taip pat ši sistema prisitaiko prie tam tikrų sąlygų. Pavyzdžiui, žmogus, kuris retai vartoja alkoholio, apgirsta greitai, tas, kuris vartoja dažnai, išsivysto tolerancija ir alkoholio vis reikia daugiau suvartoti, kad apgirsti kaip kad anksčiau.
Su dopaminu yra tokia pati situacija, jei mes dirginame nenatūraliai jo gamybą, tai su laiku jo natūrali gamyba ženkliai sumažėja ir mums reikia kokio nors veiksmo, kad jo gamintųsi ir DAUG DAUGIAU nei anksčiau.
